means to increase in number, to multiply, to make more of, as in production of vegetables or animals. “Hoʻo” means to cause or initiate. “Ma” and “hua” both mean to grow or increase. And the word “hua” also means fruit or egg. This summarizes the intent of our project – to support our community in growing more food!
