Food Bank and Pantry

Mission

Sustʻāinable Molokai provides local food to ʻohana through the island's food pantries. We source produce, fish, beef, shrimp, eggs, and more from local producers and supply it to the monthly Molokai Food Bank Distributions to supplement the boxes provided to our island's food pantries by Maui Food Bank with fresh local food.

Goals

Molokai

Monthly Food Bank distribution to Molokai’s Food Pantries is the 3rd Thursday of every month!

We source directly from local farmers, producers, and fishers.

If you can supply us with large quantities of local produce or fish like ‘Akule or Ta’ape (invasive species) please contact:

  • Melani Rawlins, Food Bank Program Coordinator
  • melan@sustainablemolokai.org

We also operate Maunaloa Food Pantry!

Open every Tuesday, 10am–2pm, and on the 3rd Thursday of each month, 1–2pm.

The Maunaloa Food Pantry was housed at Aunty Jan’s House of Blessings for many years. Sustʻāinable Molokai is grateful for the opportunity to continue Aunty Jan’s lifelong service to the Maunaloa community. Please apply in person!
